Trey was born and raised in Arlington, Texas (a suburb in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex). He graduated from Arlington High School, where he was very active in Future Farmers of America and Agricultural Sciences.

Trey has had the pleasure of working in the veterinary industry since 1994, working in all positions within the veterinary hospital, from a kennel technician to Director of Operations. He spent the first half of his veterinary career working in veterinary specialty medicine (emergency & critical care, neurology, and internal medicine) where he was able to develop his love for medicine, but also cultivated his love for veterinary business and financial development.

Trey's strong background as a Veterinary Technician allows him to support the veterinary team in many different ways including staff technical development, hospital management organization and employee/staff development. He believes in the “team” approach, allowing his team to provide exceptional care for both clients and patients. Trey's number one motto for the veterinary team is “Patients, it is why we are here!”

In 2014, Trey co-founded the Veterinary Practice Managers of Dallas, an organization for area veterinary practice managers that helps provide educational and networking opportunities for managers throughout the year. The organization was founded with the primary goal to mentor and provide a place for veterinary practice managers to find local support and mentorship to better themselves and their local colleagues.
