Dr. Colton Jarvis was born and raised in Chandler, Oklahoma. He knew from a young age that he wanted to be a veterinarian. He attended Oklahoma State University where he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school he started pursuing his interest in acupuncture at the Chi University where he received his CVA (Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist). Following graduation, he moved to Dallas with his fiancée, Liza, also a veterinarian who practices in the Dallas area.

His professional interests include acupuncture, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and emergency medicine.

In his spare time he enjoys woodworking, video games, hiking, and playing fetch with their dogs, Sadie, a yellow lab, and Oliver, a red long-haired dachshund.

Dr. Jarvis is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, a Fear Free Certified veterinarian and is Purina Veterinary Ambassador. He is very excited to begin his veterinary career with Metro Paws!
