While Lara is originally from Massachusetts but has been a long-time Texan for 14 years. She has worked with animals from the young age of 15 as a kennel technician and has since then expanded her knowledge of animal care. She has experience in many sides of animal care including emergency and general practice veterinary care, retail, and animal rescue. Her passion for animals inspired her to adopt a dog from New Hampshire named King Henry, who outlived his Lupus diagnosis but is now chasing a ball down rainbow road. Although she doesn't have any pets currently, her next one would have to be an orange tabby even though she is a pitty lover at heart! She likes to spend her free time traveling, exploring/hiking and of course a little Netflix binge.
