Dr. Rebecca “Donnie” Donaldson has been with Metro Paws Animal Hospital since 2018. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2017. After graduating, she moved back to Dallas, where she was born and raised, to be closer to friends and family. 

Dr. Donaldson’s medical interests include dentistry, feline medicine and internal medicine. She strives to provide personalized care for each and every pet. She is also a certified Cat-Friendly Veterinarian through the American Association of Feline Practitioners, demonstrating a personal commitment to feline health. 

When not helping pets, she loves being outdoors. Hiking, camping and sand volleyball are her favorite activities. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets: two dogs, three backyard chickens and two cats. If Dr. Donaldson were an animal, she would be a cat, because she is active and playful but also loves to relax!
