Dr. Chris Campbell’s path to veterinary medicine was a bit nontraditional since he did not realize he wanted to be a veterinarian until after college. After receiving a mathematics degree from Mississippi College, he worked at an insurance company for a year. Realizing that a desk job wasn’t for him, he decided to pursue his veterinary career at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Working hands-on with a team to positively impact an animal’s life drew him into the veterinary profession. Following graduation, he and his cat, Jango, moved to Dallas to be closer to his girlfriend. 

Dr. Campbell’s professional interests include internal medicine and feline medicine. He feels the cat is a kindred spirit-- curious and a little weird. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, hiking, playing soccer, playing video games, and watching movies and TV shows. He is very excited to elevate his veterinary career with Metro Paws Animal Hospital!
