Athena Eberle, DVM
Metro Paws Animal Hospital - Oak Cliff
Dr. Athena Eberle was born and raised in Pleasanton, California. She completed her Bachelor of Science in veterinary science in 2016 from the University of Nevada, Reno. Following graduation, Dr. Eberle worked full-time at a veterinary specialty practice before moving to the beautiful island of St. Kitts (she loves tropical weather!) to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Eberle finished her clinical year in 2021 at Texas A&M University where she fell in love with the state of Texas.
Dr. Eberle's interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry, feline medicine and preventative care. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to educate the community about animal welfare and form bonds with each animal and their family.
In her spare time, Dr. Eberle enjoys reading, hiking, running, spending time with friends and traveling. She has a shepherd mix named Aurora, and three cats named Luna, Mowgli and Thumper. In fact, she says that if she were any animal, she’d be a cat herself.
