Dr. Ashley Hanks was born and raised in East Dallas. She attended St. Edward’s University to play soccer before completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Arkansas. She then graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. During veterinary school, Dr. Hanks worked at Metro Paws Oak Cliff as a veterinary assistant.

Dr. Hanks has always known she wanted to be a veterinarian and is so excited to return to Oak Cliff to serve the community and their beloved pets. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery and preventative care.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with Archie, her goofy Labrador Retriever mix, reading, and playing soccer.
