Dr. Bixby was born in Long Beach, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by a Master's in Molecular and Cellular Biology, at Southern Methodist University.

He began his career in veterinary medicine as a technician at the Skillman Metro Paws location. Inspired by that experience, he traveled to the East Coast to Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated as the Class of 2024's Student Body President.

Dr. Bixby's professional interests include Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Diagnostic Imaging. One of his favorite experiences involved an externship with a surgical practice in Oahu, where he could enjoy the surf and the OR!

Dr. Bixby was raised on the ocean and loves watersports. He is a swimmer, surfer, water polo player, and avid cyclist. He has a passion for client communication and is excited to connect with the Oak Cliff community and their pets.
